2023 GMC Canyon Trim Levels, Pricing, and Towing Capacity

GMC Canyon 2023

2023 GMC Canyon

GMC makes the Canyon in four trim levels. Returning, you have the Elevation, AT4, and Denali trims, and then there’s the all-new AT4X model that’s outfitted for off-road adventuring. Here’s a look at the trim levels, pricing, and towing capacity by model:

2023 GMC Canyon Trim2023 GMC Canyon MSRPGMC Canyon Towing Capacity
2023 GMC Canyon Elevation$36,9003,500-7,700 pounds
2023 GMC Canyon AT4 $43,9003,500-7,700 pounds
2023 GMC Canyon Denali $51,000 3,500-7,700 pounds
2023 GMC Canyon AT4X$55,5003,500-6,000 pounds

As you can see, you can achieve a towing capacity of 7,700 pounds on most models, provided the Pro Trailer package is installed. However, the AT4X has more durable components and off-road equipment that add weight to the truck. As a result, the towing capacity is lower in this model.

What’s New for the 2023 GMC Canyon?

We’ll get to the AT4X in a minute, but first, let’s look at some of the most attractive new features you’ll find on the 2023 Canyon models. GMC widened the Canyon’s track and gave it a bold new front fascia highlighted by an aggressive grille framed by signature C-shaped LED headlights. Fenders flare over off-road wheels and tires, while the chiseled sides add to the Canyon’s athletic profile. You also get an off-road suspension with a 2-inch factory lift. Even the tailgate has been upgraded with a new watertight and lockable storage compartment.

2023 GMC Canyon Elevation Trim

Keyless entry lets you into your Canyon and push-button start technology gets the engine running with minimal effort. Elevation models come with premium cloth seats in several colors and an available upgrade to the CoreTec synthetic upholstery. In addition, you get a six-way manually adjusting driver’s seat and a four-way manual front passenger seat.

The technology in the Elevation includes an 11.3-inch color touch screen with Google Built-In, Wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android Auto, and Bluetooth technology pre-installed. These systems enable you to synch your smartphone and access your favorite apps, make calls, stream playlists, and more using intuitive voice commands. In addition, every Canyon model can turn into a Wi-Fi hotspot that connects several devices within 50 feet. You also get a free trial subscription to OnStar, unlocking even more remote connectivity.

The Canyon features an 8-inch color driver information display that you can configure to show important information. You also get a six-speaker audio system and a free trial of SiriusXM satellite radio. A 12-volt power outlet is standard, and you can add a 120-volt outlet as an option. Plus, you get two USB charge and data ports in the front and a third charge-only port in the back seat.

2023 GMC Canyon AT4 Trim

Not to be confused with the AT4X, the AT4 does have some similarities. In addition to coming with the same features as the Elevation, you get some upgrades. Previously optional features such as a 120-volt outlet, remote start, and a dual-zone climate control system have become standard. You also get an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat plus the option for a six-way power front passenger seat. You have your choice of premium cloth or CoreTec upholstery.

Other optional equipment includes ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a wireless charging pad, and a heated steering wheel.

2023 GMC Canyon Denali Trim

The Canyon’s premium trim offers the luxury features that elevate your driving experience, such as quilted leather upholstery with signature Denali stitching. Heated and ventilated front seats come standard, and the rear outboard seats are heated too. The front passenger seat upgrades to a six-way power-adjusting seat, while the driver’s seat has two memory positions to recall the seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors to your presets.

A larger 11-inch driver information cluster enables more customizable information to be displayed simultaneously. In addition, GMC adds a Bose seven-speaker audio system, the HD Surround Vision system, GMC’s Safety Alert Seat, a wireless charging pad, and a heated steering wheel as standard equipment.

2023 GMC Canyon AT4X Trim

GMC engineered the Canyon AT4X trim to handle serious off-road excursions, adding equipment such as a full-locking driver-selectable front differential unit that locks both front wheels to turn in unison for additional traction. You get a beefier 220-amp alternator to handle the other systems and a 3-inch factory lift. Red front recovery hooks come standard, and you can add a winch kit, steel drive shaft, and skid plates for more protection and versatility. Beadlock-capable wheels with optional 33-inch all-terrain tires add impressive off-road performance.

2023 GMC Canyon Powertrain

Under the hood, every Canyon has a revised 2.7-liter high-output turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. As a result, this powertrain generates 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The Elevation comes standard with front-wheel drive and the option for four-wheel drive. In addition, the AT4, Denali, and AT4X trims come standard with four-wheel drive.

2023 GMC Canyon Driver-Assist Technology

Every GMC Canyon comes with GMC’s Canyon Pro Safety package — a suite of driver-assist systems designed to elevate your drive and keep you safe. This includes automatic emergency braking, IntelliBeam automatic headlights, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, front pedestrian and bicycling braking, and lane-keep assist with lane departure warning.

An optional Pro Safety Plus package adds rear park assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and a blind-zone steering assist system. In addition, GMC incorporates advanced camera technology and radar to monitor your Canyon’s surroundings. When a system detects a potential hazard, it sends visual, audio, and haptic alerts so you can take corrective action.

You can also consider the upper-level configurations to experience additional safety functions that ensure you drive with confidence.

STANDARD 2023 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE SAFETY FEATURES

Chevrolet Traverse Safety Features

2023 Chevrolet Traverse

Once the engine of the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse comes on, the SUV will be ready to protect you and all of your passengers for your entire commute. Check out the LS model, which is the first trim level, for its standard safety features that can enhance the way you cruise down the highway and maneuver into your driveway. When you’re preparing to reverse, you can consult the rearview camera to see what’s behind you before you take your foot off the brake. The camera can be also useful if you’re backing out of a space in a crowded parking lot.

On a busy street, you can rely on the sensors on the front of the SUV to monitor the amount of space between you and the vehicle traveling ahead of you. If you’re coming too close, the forward collision warning will alert you so you have time to slow your speed or switch to another lane. This feature works with forward automatic emergency braking, which stops the vehicle on your behalf. Another basic component that the Traverse provides is pedestrian detection. When you’re driving through a neighborhood, for example, the sensors alert you when a person is in your path.

When you’re driving on the interstate, it’s important to remain in the center of your lane to prevent an accident with the vehicles traveling beside you. That’s why the Chevrolet Traverse comes with a lane-departure warning, a feature that chimes when the tires on the SUV stray from the parameters of the lane. You can also rely on lane-keep assist, which briefly takes over the steering wheel to correct the position of the SUV. Make sure you consult the following distance indicator to stay informed about how much time it takes to reach the car in front of you.

Regardless of the time of day you’re on the road or Mother Nature’s mood, the Traverse delivers a safe driving experience. Its high-beam headlights switch on automatically when the sun goes down or the rainstorm starts, making sure you can navigate dark and slick highways with ease. The SUV also boasts exterior mirrors that heat up, melting away fog or rain from the reflection so you can always see what’s behind you. In the event of an accident, the air bags can protect you and your travel companions, mounting from the front and passenger sides, and shielding your head.

The Chevrolet Traverse is a family car for a reason. As you collect belongings to exit the vehicle, the rear occupant alert will chime to remind you about the tiny humans or four-legged friends that are traveling with you. Plus, you can consider taking advantage of the teen driver features. When your young loved ones ask to borrow the SUV, you can hand them a unique key fob that limits how fast they can drive and how loud they can play music inside the vehicle. They also won’t be able to pull off until each passenger is wearing their seatbelt.

AVAILABLE 2023 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE SAFETY FEATURES

The higher trim levels of the 2023 Chevrolet Traverse include the LT Cloth, LT Leather, RS, Premier, and High Country, all of which include upgrades to technology features that emphasize safety and convenience. Starting with the LT Cloth model, you have access to lane change alert with side blind zone alert, two collaborative functions that monitor what’s in your blind spot to help you determine when it’s safe to switch lanes. You can also consider the adaptive cruise control, available on the RS and upper-level configurations, to set a comfortable speed on the interstate that adjusts based on the traffic.

Although the Traverse is a large vehicle, you’ll have no trouble steering backward into a parking space. The RS, Premier, and High Country trims are equipped with a parking camera system that shows what’s in the vicinity of the SUV in real-time. These configurations also include rear pedestrian detection, an advanced feature that tells you when someone is walking behind the vehicle. You can capitalize on the rear cross-traffic alert, a standard component of the second trim level and higher, which informs you if there’s another car approaching as you prepare to reverse into the street.

While the forward collision warning is a standard feature in the Traverse, the upper-level trims offer enhanced automatic emergency braking, which applies the brakes to stop the SUV before an accident occurs. The component can also lessen the severity of an accident, further protecting you and your passengers from harm. To give you peace of mind when you’re behind the wheel, consider choosing the Premier or High Country configurations to gain access to the safety alert seat feature. The driver’s seat will vibrate if you’re at risk of a collision, giving you a chance to take corrective actions.

If you need a heavy-duty pickup truck for work or recreation, you can’t go wrong with the 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. It’s a little more compact than the 3500 version while still offering significant power and versatility. Even better is that this model is available in five trim levels, which is just enough to provide variety without making your purchase overwhelming. Here at Seminole Chevrolet GMC, we’re ready to make your decision even easier by comparing the five 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD trims. Read on to discover their key features and learn which trim suits your preferences.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Pro

2023 GMC Sierra 2500

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD

As the new 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD’s most basic trim, the Pro has key features that make it an ideal work truck. It has the same standard 6.6-liter V-8 gas engine that the other trims have, meaning it can produce up to 401 horsepower and 464 lb-feet of torque. If you prefer a diesel engine, you can opt for the 6.6-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel V-8 engine to get up to 445 horsepower and 910 lb-feet of torque. Another standard feature is the six-speed, heavy-duty electronically controlled automatic transmission, though you can opt for Allison 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Pro has available integrated power take-off (PTO) for the Allison transmission, which features smooth shifting performance and auto grade braking. As a basic trim, it lacks the standard features you get with other trim levels. For instance, the Pro is the only trim that has the GMC MultiPro tailgate as an available feature instead of a standard feature. It includes six distinct functions that streamline the loading and unloading of cargo. For instance, the inner gate folds down for easy access while the load stop prevents items from sliding out of the bed.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLE

While the SLE is still one of the more basic 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD trims, subtle upgrades allow it to stand out from the Pro. You’ll appreciate the upgrade from standard 17-inch steel-painted silver wheels to 17-inch aluminum wheels. Other key exterior features include black power-adjustable vertical trailering mirrors, body-color door handles, deep-tinted glass, and stainless-steel beltline moldings. When you look inside, you’ll notice that it upgrades the Pro’s 3.5-inch diagonal monographic Driver Information Center to a 4.2-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center.

Similar to the Pro, the SLE has several standard safety features for your peace of mind, such as hitch guidance, LED daytime running lamps, a rear vision camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. You’ll appreciate the OnStar and GMC Connected Services capability, which is available for the SLE and the trim levels above it. These trims also include three years of these services to help you understand their full value. An available camera in the center high mount stop lamp (CHMSL) provides an elevated view of the truck bed from the back of the cab. The image appears on the infotainment display so you can quickly check cargo.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLT

As a mid-level trim, the 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLT continues to add features to offer drivers and their passengers a more comfortable ride. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard and ensures the system automatically maintains the selected temperatures for the driver and front passenger. Another standard feature is remote start, which allows you to start the truck from a distance so you can step into the perfect temperature. When you have the SLT’s keyless open and start fob in your possession, you can lock the doors and start the truck without taking the fob out of your pocket.

You might want to opt for the SLT trim if you want to streamline the process of hitching your trailer. Hitch guidance with hitch view is a standard feature that displays a guideline on the rear vision camera view when you’re reversing. You can also use this camera to check the trailer connection.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4

Those planning on trucking through especially rough terrains might opt for the AT4 trim. One example of a feature that helps this truck withstand the elements is the standard skid plates. These metal sheets help protect the front underbody, oil pan, differential case, and transfer case from the toughest conditions. The standard Autotrac two-speed transfer case with push-button controls allows you to switch between two- and four-wheel drive, making it easy to customize the amount of power your wheels get.

Some drivers choose to upgrade the AT4 by opting for the Premium Plus package. Key exterior features include 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with high-gloss black accents and a high-clearance step for easy entry. Additionally, you can choose from HD surround vision with two trailer view camera provisions, a multicolor 15-inch diagonal head-up display, and a Bose premium sound system.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Denali

The most advanced 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD trim is the Denali. With a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) that’s nearly $25,000 more than the Pro’s MSRP, the Denali has several premium features that justify the cost. For instance, consider its standard HD surround vision that uses multiple cameras to display a digital overhead image of your truck’s surroundings. The standard universal home remote feature embodies convenience by activating devices like garage door openers and security systems from inside your truck.

If you want to customize your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD even further, you can opt for a Denali Black Diamond Edition or Ultimate package. The former includes key features like trailer tire pressure monitor sensors and an auxiliary trailer camera. Those who get the Ultimate package can enjoy a multicolor 15-inch diagonal head-up display and power sunroof.

Whether you’re looking for something simple like the Pro or something decked out like the Denali, the 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is sure to have a trim that suits your needs. If you have more questions about trims or want advice based on your preferences, contact Seminole Chevrolet GMC today. Our team can also help you schedule a test drive and connect you with affordable financing so you can start driving your new truck as soon as possible.

Did the check engine light on your car’s dashboard just turn on? If so, you’re probably well aware of what it looks like. You might not know what it means, though, and that’s because it could indicate any number of things, as it turns on when your car’s computer senses a problem somewhere in your vehicle. You’ll need to take your car to your local car dealership’s service center as soon as possible so they can use a diagnostic computer to read a code revealing what’s wrong with it.

The check engine light is just one of the many symbols that might light up on your car’s dashboard to indicate an issue. The team at Seminole Chevrolet Buick General Motors Co. (GMC) in Seminole, Oklahoma, has provided this handy guide to help you learn about what the most common symbols on your car’s dashboard mean.

OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT

Warning Lights

Your car contains oil that lubricates all the moving parts found in its engine. If your vehicle is ever running low on oil or if its oil pump isn’t working properly, you might see the oil pressure warning light turn on. This isn’t a light you’ll want to ignore for very long. If you drive around in your car without enough oil getting to its engine, it could lead to serious engine troubles. You should arrange to have your car looked at right away to get oil flowing through its engine again.

TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT

Your car has a tire pressure monitoring system in it that keeps an eye on how much air is in each of its tires. If the tire pressure ever falls below a certain level, the tire pressure warning light will come on to let you know that you need to fill one or more of the tires up with air. You should try to put air in the tires sooner rather than later since a lack of air can affect your car’s fuel economy and potentially lead to damage to its tires.

ENGINE TEMPERATURE WARNING LIGHT

While the oil in your car is probably the most critical fluid found in it, the engine coolant comes in a close second. It’s responsible for making sure that your car’s engine doesn’t overheat. If your car’s engine temperature warning light ever pops up, it’ll be a sign that its engine coolant is either leaking or not doing its job and that its engine is getting too hot as a result. You’ll want to pull your car over immediately since continuing to drive without enough coolant could wreak havoc on your car’s engine.

ABS WARNING LIGHT

If you’re ever forced to slam on your brakes for one reason or another, the ABS will spring into action to stop your brakes from completely locking up on you. The ABS warning light coming on will indicate that your ABS isn’t operating as it should. This could be a safety hazard, so you’ll want to drive your car to a service center immediately to get your ABS back in good working order.

BATTERY ALERT LIGHT

At first glance, you might think the battery alert light is a sign that your car’s battery is about to die, and this could very well be the case. But it could also suggest that you have a loose battery cable, an alternator on its last legs, or even a fault in your car’s electrical system. Whatever the case, you’ll need to have your car’s battery inspected before you continue driving.

AIRBAG INDICATOR LIGHT

Most cars on the road today have a series of airbags in them that are strategically positioned throughout a vehicle to protect drivers and passengers in the event of a crash. If you spot your airbag indicator light come on, it’ll let you know that you have either a single airbag that isn’t working or an entire airbag system that’s gone down. This could put you in real danger if you happen to get into an accident, so you shouldn’t hesitate to arrange to have your airbags fixed.

BRAKE WARNING LIGHT

If the brake warning light appears on your car’s dashboard, the first thing you should do is check to see if your parking brake is engaged. If it is, disengaging it should shut this light right off. If, however, the light is still on after you’ve disengaged the parking brake, you might have a problem with your car’s braking system. And because the brakes are such an important part of your vehicle, you’ll need to schedule service before you keep driving around in a car with bad brakes.

TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE WARNING LIGHT

Although there are a couple of other very serious warning lights on this list, this one might be the most serious of the bunch. If your car’s transmission temperature warning light comes on, you’ll need to pull it over immediately because it’ll mean its transmission is overheating. You should arrange to have your car towed to the nearest service center so that you can get its transmission inspected to figure out why it’s overheating at this time.

SEAT BELT REMINDER LIGHT

When you first climb into your car and start it up, you’ll see the seat belt reminder light illuminate. It’ll then usually stay on until you put your seat belt on. Most people have gotten into the habit of putting their seat belts on after getting into their cars, but it never hurts to get a reminder from this light. Wearing a seatbelt could save your life if you’re ever involved in a car crash.

CONTACT OUR SERVICE CENTER IF YOU SEE ANY SYMBOLS ON YOUR CAR’S DASHBOARD

When your car is running like it’s supposed to, you shouldn’t see any symbols lit up on its dashboard. This will indicate that your vehicle has a clean bill of health and shouldn’t have anything wrong with it.

But if you see any of the warning lights listed here, it’ll be a different story. You’ll need to have your car worked on right away to get it running like normal again. The service center at Seminole Chevrolet Buick GMC can lend a hand if you need help repairing your car after seeing a symbol show up on its dashboard.

The all-new 2023 GMC Acadia is a mid-size SUV that has plenty of interior and exterior features that help you drive safely, provide comfort, expand your entertainment options, and give you full customization of your new vehicle. Among some of its features are different trim levels, plenty of cargo and passenger space, and safety features to help you navigate the roads. Keep reading to learn more about the interior and exterior features of the 2023 GMC Acadia and how they can improve your next vehicle purchase.

HISTORY OF THE GMC ACADIA

2023 GMC Acadia

2023 GMC Acadia

GMC first introduced the Acadia to the United States in 2006 as a 2007 model-year vehicle. The original Acadia was a large SUV meant to compete with other large SUVs throughout the mid-2000s and into the late 2010s. This ended with the second generation of the Acadia, which GMC debuted in 2017. This generation of Acadia, which includes the 2023, decreased the size of the Acadia to a mid-size SUV to compete with other mid-size crossover vehicles on the market. As part of the decrease in size, GMC made several other changes to the vehicle.

TRIM LEVEL EXTERIORS

The GMC Acadia comes in four different trim levels. These are the 2023 Acadia SLE, the SLT, the AT4, and the Denali. Each of these can change some of the available features and colors of the vehicle. All the trim levels come in seven colors including Summit White, Sterling Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Ebony Twilight Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, Ultra Blue Metallic, and Light Stone Metallic.

When you get the GMC Acadia at the AT4 trim level, some exterior differences start to become apparent. First, it comes with 17-inch gloss-black wheels and all-terrain tires to make travel on or off the roads easier. This trim level also has black-capped exterior mirrors, a black chrome front grille, and gloss-black roof rails. Each of these combines to make the vehicle stand out from the lower trim levels.

At the peak of the trim levels stands the Denali. The Denali exterior comes with the chrome Denali front grille, 20-inch ultra-bright machined aluminum wheels, and the exclusive Denali badging. Additionally, this trim level comes with a chrome accent on the door handles and bodyside mounting, and a special black finish for the Denali Black Diamond edition of this trim level.

SEATING

If you’re looking for a vehicle with plenty of space for passengers, then the 2023 GMC Acadia is an excellent option. By base, the vehicle comes with seats for six people, with two seats across three rows. When you buy the vehicle new, you can also choose an optional seven-seat setup to fit one more passenger safely within the vehicle.

Even if your 2023 Acadia is full of passengers, there’s plenty of space. Are you thinking about planning something extra special with your significant other for Valentine’s Day this year but not sure what to do? There are so many unique and romantic ways to spend this delightful day. Some people prefer to go the traditional route and enjoy an intimate candlelit dinner at a gourmet restaurant. At the same time, some couples might want to do an adventurous activity in the great outdoors, and others are more comfortable staying cozy at home.

We know every couple is different, so we came up with a wide range of ideas for this year’s Valentine’s Day. We know that at least one of these will appeal to you, so go through the list with your partner — or alone if you’re planning a sweet surprise — and see how you can spice up your special romantic day.

SURPRISE YOUR PARTNER BY RECREATING YOUR FIRST DATE

Couples who have been together for a long time may feel that initial spark they had at the beginning of their romance start to wane as daily routines like housekeeping, child-rearing, and long workdays set in. What better time than Valentine’s Day to ignite the flame and rekindle those passionate and exciting days from the start of the relationship?

Remind your significant other of some of your earliest and most precious memories by recreating your first date. Whether it was a fun movie night, a hike out in the woods, or dinner at a neighborhood restaurant, try to remember as many details from that first romantic night together as you can and match your Valentine’s Day as closely as possible.

TAKE A TRIP IN YOUR OWN TOWN

Most people can’t afford to take a big trip to Paris or Rome for Valentine’s Day. However, you and your loved one don’t need to spend thousands of dollars and fly around the world to have a romantic day or night out as tourists. Instead, explore your backyard in Seminole like you’re on vacation and discover something you never knew about your town.

Is there a museum you have always wanted to visit? A unique venue you haven’t been to yet? Or perhaps an interesting attraction in Oklahoma City you haven’t really explored yet? Whatever it is, almost every couple has something they’ve wanted to do in Seminole, but life gets too busy, and it just gets pushed aside. Make Valentine’s Day the day you take a staycation and finish the day off with an incredible gourmet dinner for that extra touch of class.

ENJOY DINNER AT DON CIRO’S

Head to one of the top-rated restaurants in Seminole to enjoy a great dining experience in a cozy, warm atmosphere. Each staff member at Don Ciro’s prides themselves on their friendly and professional service. They work extra hard to make all their customers feel cared for and special.

Guests rave about the costillas featuring delectable pork ribs cooked in a choice of red or green sauce. The molcajete is a customer favorite and combines several meat varieties, including carne asada, chicken, and chorizo. Both dishes are served with rice, beans, and guacamole, providing the perfect finishing touch to each hearty and flavorful meal. The restaurant is located at 100 N. Main St. in Seminole. If you can’t make a reservation here for Valentine’s Day, try one of the many other highly-rated Mexican restaurants nearby.

BOOK A COUPLES MASSAGE

Take a break from the stress of daily life and experience a day of rejuvenation by booking a couples massage. If you have the time, you can make your massage part of a whole spa day and engage in self-care and a bit of pampering as a couple. Nothing is more romantic than relaxing with each other and taking care of your mind and body together. Shared experiences can only strengthen your romantic bond, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect time for indulging in some rest and relaxation together.

GO STARGAZING AT TENKILLER STATE PARK

Seminole residents are lucky to live in one of the best places for stargazing in the continental United States. If you want to spend a night looking up at the Milky Way, there are many rural areas you can choose from, but we highly recommend heading out to Tenkiller State Park.

Just under two hours away from Seminole, Tenkiller State Park is known as one of the best dark sky sites in the state. People come here from all over Oklahoma to stargaze far away from the light pollution of major towns and cities. So head out to Tenkiller State Park with your partner, bring snacks and drinks, and spend an evening observing the awe-inspiring stars and planets of the majestic night sky.

If you can take a day off, we recommend you stay in the area overnight in one of the many available cabins — or a tent, if you’re up for roughing it — and spend the next day in the glorious outdoors. After all, the park is known for its large, crystal-clear lake, stunning hiking trails, and a variety of water sports.

HAVE A ROMANTIC DATE NIGHT AT HOME

It’s nice to have a romantic night out or explore the great outdoors, but for some couples, a romantic evening at home is just what the doctor ordered. So pick a tried-and-true recipe you both love, or choose the one you’ve wanted to try for a long time and make it together. Plan ahead as much as possible and shop for your ingredients the day before to ensure you have everything on hand.

After you’re done with dinner — and don’t forget dessert — pick your favorite romantic movie or two and settle in for a cozy night on the couch. What could be more romantic than watching a movie, snacking on popcorn, and snuggling under a blanket far removed from Oklahoma’s wintry February cold? Some of our favorite timeless romantic comedies include “Sleepless in Seattle,” “Moonstruck,” and “When Harry Met Sally.” Then, for one of our favorite romances of all time, check out “Dirty Dancing.”

Whether you’re looking to spend Valentine’s Day in a more traditional way or want to try something completely different this year, we are confident there’s a suggestion on our list that will appeal to most Seminole locals. If you or your sweetheart have another great idea for Valentine’s Day in Seminole that we didn’t mention, please contact us at Seminole Chevrolet Buick GMC and let us know. We’d love to add it to our list and include it in a future article.

What Are the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Trim Levels?

Sierra 1500 Line up

2023 GMC Sierra 1500

Trim levels are sets of different pre-packaged features that come with different versions of the same vehicle. For example, a base or standard package comes with the primary features of the vehicle, but may not come with additional packages such as premium interiors or additional comforts and technology. The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 comes in a massive eight different trim levels. Each trim level has critical features that differ from the others. The trim levels of this vehicle are:

  • Pro
  • SLE
  • Elevation
  • SLT
  • AT4
  • AT4X
  • Denali
  • Denali Ultimate

Pro

The Pro trim level is the base version of the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. It comes with a standard array of pickup features, including safety technology. Along with the SLE, Elevation, and SLT trims, it also comes with different options for the cab of the vehicle, allowing you to fit more passengers or allow more bed space in your vehicle. You have the options of a crew cab, a double cab, or a regular cab. The crew and double cab both have a second row of seats, while the regular cab only has front-row seats, which allows for a longer bed.

SLE

The SLE trim level is the second version of the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. It comes with the same features as the Pro trim level but also includes the options for several features including a more powerful engine. The 5.3-liter V-8 or the 3.0-liter turbodiesel compared to the standard 2.7-liter engine brings both more horsepower and more torque. This means the truck has overall more power, which makes it easier to haul large cargo, such as heavy bed loads or trailers.

This trim level also has a more detailed infotainment system, as well as heated seats, steering wheel, and exterior mirrors to make driving more comfortable.

Elevation

The Elevation is an excellent middle ground between the base version of the truck and the higher trim levels. It has similar engine and performance options as the SLE, but has additional exterior changes that make the truck more visually appealing. These features include LED fog lights, monochromatic accents, a better suspension system for larger loads, larger wheels, and a black front grille. If you’re looking for better towing and hauling capabilities plus a nicer appearance for your truck, then the Elevation is the right trim level for you.

SLT

If you weren’t pleased with the engine options from the previous trim models, then perhaps having a fourth option is for you. The SLT offers the same three engines as the lower trim levels but adds the option of a 6.2-liter V-8. This engine is much more powerful than the others, making your driving and towing that much easier. The SLT version of the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 also comes with an improved speaker system, passenger seats with power adjustment, and auto-dimming mirrors to protect you and your passengers from dangerous glare.

AT4

The AT4 is the first version of the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 that is designed for offroading. With this version of the truck, you get a full off-road package, including standard four-wheel drive, 10-speed automatic transmission, skid plates, and an engine heater for cold weather. If these options aren’t enough to satisfy your offroading fix, the truck also comes with recovery hooks, off-road tires, and an impressive air filter to help keep the cabin clear of various hazards from offroading. This version and the AT4X are excellent choices for avid offroaders.

AT4X

The AT4X is the second option for off-road drivers. It also has many additional comforts. At its base, it has the same features as the AT4 for offroading. In addition to these features, it also has larger wheels, a more powerful alternator, more adjustment for the power seats, and even more speakers. Unlike the AT4, which gives you the option of the 3.0-liter turbodiesel or the 6.2-liter V-8, the AT4X comes standard with the V-8 engine. This means it can apply its maximum power to its larger wheels to give you even better handling.

Denali

The last two trim levels of the 2023 GMX Sierra 1500 are the luxury versions of the truck. The Denali comes with the same engine options as the SLE but only has four-wheel drive. The real luxury comes from the interior of the truck where you can have a full surround-view camera, wireless phone charging pad, 10-way adjustable power seats, and plenty of infotainment and technology features to keep you entertained. This version of the truck also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, which can help you navigate brief periods of off-road driving.

Denali Ultimate

The 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate is exactly that: the ultimate package of this truck. With this highest trim level, you can have every feature of the previous trim levels, and the option between the 3.0-liter turbodiesel or the 6.2-liter V-8 engine. With this trim level, you can basically pick and choose the options you want, handcrafting your truck to meet your exact needs, wants, and lifestyle.

The Chevrolet Suburban first arrived in 1935 and has impressed drivers with its capabilities and versatility ever since. This full-size SUV has a body-on-frame construction and room for up to eight people. Chevy offers it with a choice of engines and either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Suburban has a bold exterior design with a range of features available, and the cabin is just as impressive with its abundant space and tech. Read below as our team at Seminole Chevrolet Buick GMC provides an overview of the Suburban’s interior and exterior features.

Exterior Design

The Sterling Grey Metallic Suburban Driving on a Desert Off-Road

2023 Chevrolet Suburban

Chevy offers the 2023 Suburban in six different trim levels, and each one has unique exterior features. The LS starts the lineup with 18-inch alloy wheels. It has rain-sensing windshield wipers that turn on automatically when they sense precipitation, LED taillights and daytime running lights, and automatic LED headlights that turn on and off according to traffic conditions. A step up from the base LS trim to the LT gets you a hands-free power liftgate, so you can easily access the cargo area, even if you have your hands full of gear, groceries, or children.

The RST is the sporty Suburban. It has 22-inch black-painted wheels, black exterior trim elements to give it a bolder style, and a unique front fascia. The RST, LT, and LS offer a new black front grille for the 2023 model year, with Chevrolet displayed in capital letters across the front.

If you plan to take your SUV over rough terrain, the Suburban Z71 is the model for you. It comes standard with four-wheel drive and extra off-road equipment, such as skid plates, all-terrain tires for the 20-inch wheels, and a two-speed transfer case. It also has red front tow hooks, a heavy-duty air filter, black textured side steps that run from wheel to wheel, and a uniquely designed front fascia. The redesigned front end improves the SUV’s approach angle, making it easier to drive over rocks and other off-road obstacles.

Stepping up to the Premier adds magnetic ride control and an optional power panoramic sunroof. The High Country has 22-inch alloy wheels and optional power-retractable running boards. It also stands out from the other models with a unique front grille design with bronze accents.

Interior Space and Seating

In its standard configuration, the Suburban has room for up to eight people. All three rows have plenty of headroom and legroom, and there’s easy access to every seat in the vehicle. You’ll also find impressive cargo space in the Suburban. Behind all three rows, there are 41.5 cubic feet, but this can expand to 93.8 cubic feet if you fold down the third row. With both back rows folded, it has more storage space than any regular-length full-size SUV. You can carry up to 144.7 cubic feet of gear for hitting the lakes near Seminole.

The cushioned front seats in the Suburban have plenty of support to keep you comfortable on long rides. The second row is roomy, with space for taller passengers to spread out. Although the third-row seats don’t have as much cushioning as the front two rows, there’s enough space for adults to ride comfortably.

The Premier and High Country trims switch out the second-row bench seat for captain’s chairs, making the second row even more comfortable even if it does reduce the seating to seven.

Interior Features

Cloth upholstery is standard in the lower Suburban trims, and even the base LS has convenient power-adjustable front seats. The leather-wrapped steering wheel gives the Suburban an upscale feel even for the entry-level trims, and it has a manual tilt-and-telescoping feature to help you find a comfortable position. Tri-zone automatic climate control is another standard feature in this SUV. Stepping up to the LT gets you heated front seats and leather upholstery for the first and second rows. It also adds driver’s seat memory settings and power-folding second-row and third-row seats.

When you want to get into luxury territory, the Premier and High Country have added cabin features to get you there. These trims have ventilated front seats, a power-folding third row, and a power-sliding center console that moves back and forth to help create extra space. They also upgraded the upholstery to perforated leather.

The RST trim has a distinctive look in the cabin, with RST-specific seats with contrasting stitching for a sportier feel.

Technology

You can’t have a luxury cruiser without the technology to keep everyone in the cabin entertained, and the 2023 Suburban has all the tech features you’ll need. If you start with the base LS trim, you’ll get an 8-inch touch screen that houses Chevrolet’s Infotainment 3 system. It has Bluetooth, incorporates a six-speaker stereo system, and it works with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Satellite radio capability is also standard, along with a Wi-Fi hotspot, OnStar telecommunications, and six USB ports.

If you step up to the LT, a larger 10.2-inch touch screen sits in the middle of the dashboard to house the infotainment system instead of the 8-inch screen, and it has a 12-inch color digital gauge cluster in front of the driver. Wireless phone charging is another added tech feature in the LT, and this trim and above get built-in Google compatibility.

The Premier and High Country add to the tech features with a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound stereo system, and the High Country also adds a head-up display and a digital rearview mirror. The head-up display projects driver information on the windshield in front of you just below your line of sight so you can keep your eyes on the road. Depending on the trim level, a rear-seat entertainment system is available with two 12.6-inch LCD touch-screen displays.
