Billy Boy Bar-b-que is about 25 minutes away from Seminole in Shawnee. This place has daily lunch specials that repeat every week, and they’re customer favorites.
On Monday, you can get a Philly cheese steak with french fries and a drink.
On Tuesday or Thursday, try the catfish basket with french fries and toast.
The Wednesday special is smoked chicken breast with a side salad and toast, while on Friday, you can choose either a regular or super chopped barbecue sandwich with french fries and a drink.
The Saturday special includes rib ends, french fries, and a drink.
For dinner, you can get half and full-pound versions of ribs, brisket, ham, hot links, barbecued turkey, pulled pork, or Polish sausage.
If you’re feeling really hungry, try the combo, which includes ribs, barbecued beef, and hot links.

Butcher BBQ Stand , sometimes called The Stand, is about an hour away from Seminole in Wellston.
You can pick your own table at this casual place, and there’s often a long line.
It’s a great spot for lunch, but it’s so popular that they often sell out for the day.
Several smoked meats are available, including burnt ends, brisket, a full or half slab of ribs, pulled pork, turkey, chicken, and sausage.
Each order is half a pound, and a slab of ribs comes with 12 bones.You’ll love their meat plates with a choice of one or two types of meat, two sides, bread, and a Twinkie. Sandwiches include the Hillbilly Philly with queso sauce, jalapenos, burnt ends, and barbecue sauce.
The Squatch has hot links, sausage, pulled pork, and slaw. You can also go with the Half N Half, a sandwich with a different kind of meat on each side.
Your kids can get a chicken or pork slider, or macaroni and cheese, which all come with a Twinkie.

Pigskins BBQ
Pigskins BBQ is a sports bar in Ada, about half an hour away from Seminole. This family business opened in 2007, and it moved to a larger location in 2017.
The walls are filled with local, college, and professional football decor, and you’ll enjoy their mouthwatering meats, great prices, and large portions.
You can start your meal with jalapeno poppers, a garden salad, loaded fries, hot wings, pig sticks, or loaded pig tails.
Fan favorites for lunch or dinner include Polish sausage, chopped smoked brisket, pulled pork, smoked ribs, smoked turkey, and hot links.
The Hot Off the Smoker sandwich baskets come with a side item and a sandwich. You can choose smoked turkey breast, pulled pork, smoked chicken breast, Kevin’s Bodacious Bologna, smoked Polish sausage, smoked hot links, or chopped smoked brisket.
